Frequently asked questions

I have leftover Killer Salsa in my jar. How long will it last in the fridge?

You have what?! If you’re too full to finish it off in one sitting, a jar of Killer Salsa will keep for up to 5-7 days in the refrigerator after opening. But let’s be honest, will it really last that long?

What should I do with leftover salsa?

Let’s say you have leftover salsa from a party, and you need to use it up before it goes bad. You may be wondering, “Can I just freeze the salsa and eat it later?” Yes and no. We don’t recommend freezing the salsa to use again for dipping and snacking because the texture of defrosted tomato-based salsa changes too much. However, that change in texture can actually be helpful if you plan to use the extra salsa in soups, stews, or sauces!

What’s the best way to enjoy Killer Salsa?

What is the difference between jarred and refrigerated Killer Salsa?

Our jarred salsa is cooked to increase shelf life. Both our jarred and refrigerated salsas contain ascorbic acid and citric acid to prolong shelf life. While an airtight, unopened jar of salsa can sit in the pantry for
up to a year, we recommend refrigerating jarred salsa after opening it. Our refrigerated salsa is not cooked and must be stored in the fridge before and after opening.

What is your most popular salsa?

Our post popular salsa is Original: Our Take on Homestyle but Hot: A Kick in the Kisser is right behind
that, with Garlic: The Crowd Pleaser trending.

Do you ship nationwide?

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free with any order of a 12-pack or more in the continental US. There is a flat fee of $5.00 for a 6-pack in the continental US. All other shipping costs are calculated during checkout.
